#19 $1500 POT LIMIT OMAHA

#19
POT LIMIT OMAHA
$1,500

With a solid night in at the cash table I was ready for this event. The only thing I knew was that I need to win the first few pots I play so I could get some chips and not make this a crap shoot event.
With only 3,000 in chips and the blinds at 25/50 each chip was vital.
I played a pot and won it on the turn with a bet, I then lost a small pot after folding to a bet on the river.
Then I raised a pot that a limper UTG was in and got 3 callers. The limper then re-raised pot which set him all in less that 1500. I now know he has AA so I re-raised all in to get the hand heads up. (wishfull thinking). I got both callers and the hands were unreal as they were turned over. OK the player all in for the main pot AAKJd/s. The others well A224(1 suit) and the guy who was still let with 75 chips. KQ98(no suits.
The main pot was like 6,000, The first side pot was 4,500, and the other side pot I was in was 2,800. The flop 6d 9d Td
My hand by the way was 789T(1 suit) but I knew I was against Aces so suit did not matter I just wanted to be heads up.
Looking in good shape on the flop as there was not 1 player with diamonds. Nut straight and top 2 pair. The turn gave the worst hand immediate service with a 3 outer Jack and a brick on the river and it was game over for me.
Back to the STT room to start winning some more tournament chips.
